The flight out to Washington was pretty uneventful. It was 9:00PM our time when we took off and almost Midnight by the time we landed, so all three kiddos slept! 
We flew back during the day, so we knew it would be a little more interesting, so we tried to be prepared. The girls took turns with the Ipod and the DS.
About half way through the flight and out of pure exhaustion from a great trip, the whole family fell asleep.
and then about 20 minutes before landing.... KYCE woke up and he wanted to make sure the rest of the people on the plane were awake, also. 
He started off squealing out of delight which turned into a whine and then into a full out cry... maybe his ears?
At this point DESPERATE TIMES call for DESPERATE MEASURES....
We pulled out the candy bags from the parade the night before we left Minnesota! Kyce got his first Dum Dum from Auntie Becky, and loved it, so this was actually his second one!
Karsyn slept right through the landing, so Kaydree jumped on the sucker opportunity! Kaydree thinks flying is so much fun!

You are one smart momma! Good quick thinking of the lollipop. That's so nice that the kids slept on the flight out. Traveling with children is never easy.

I have seen it before when he is saying enough already...
I am starting to think that is not much that Kyce does not like in the way of food.
I am glad the flights both ways went pretty darn good.
The sucking from the lollipop probably did help his ears. Plane rides are rough on kids.

That is actually a funny story in itself. It was a teenage girl and at the beginning of the flight, Kaydree was drawing with markers and it slipped off the paper and wrote on the girl's leg! Black marker, so she went to the bathroom to wash it off and it didn't come off! So I am sure she was ready to get off the plane! hee hee

A lot more peaceful than our family flights....there is a lot of throwing up involed in ours and not just from me...poor Mike!
