I have to admit this was one my favorite days. Not only did I get up the courage to leave Kyce with a friend of David and Christine's, we went to the Temple as a Family and then got to enjoy an adult + Kyce brunch and then pedicures and shopping for the ladies!
Going to the Temple as a Family is always a highlight on our trips to Washington. It always seems like things come up to deter us from going, but we persevere and get there and once we do, it is always such an unbelievable experience. For those of you that don't know, we are Latter Day Saints or otherwise most people call us Mormons. The temple is special to me in many ways but when I attend with my husband, I am reminded that we didn't get married "until death do us part," but that we were sealed in the temple for "Time and All Eternity." We have the opportunity to be reminded and renew our covenants not only with each other but with Our Father in Heaven. Going as a family is important to us because the key here is, that Families can be Together forever! This is the House of the Lord and going to his house can only bring blessings beyond measure!

Benjy hadn't seen his little brother Danny in three years and yet when we all get together, it is as if we were never apart! I wonder if life Eternal, when we are reunited with our loved ones that have passed on, will feel the same way, I believe it will.
After the Temple we went back to David and Christine's house for an amazing brunch! Then the men went back to entertain the kiddos. The ladies made flower clips and headbands, got pedicures and went shopping! Does a day get any better then this?

I love the last picture - Kyce has the same look as when you fed him cake at your parents party. So glad you guys had a great time!
so great! Ada say a pic of Kaydree and Karsyn this morning and got a really pic smile on her face and said "Kaydree, Karsyn, baby Kyce". So cute! We miss you guys!!!
It was such a fun day!!!! Going to the temple is one of my favorite things to do when we get together. I wish we could have girl time with you more often! miss you guys!

Sounds like a great time and that look on Kyce's face is priceless. He is not taking his eyes off of the prize that Benjy is distracted from giving to him..
