A Room With a View

Two weekends ago we went up to Duluth for Kaydree's Soccer Games. It was a busy weekend and we missed a wedding and 3 graduation receptions, which we felt bad about, but we had a blast!
We stayed at the Edgewater Resort and it had a great water park, but the best part was the view of Lake Superior from our room. http://www.duluthwaterpark.com/specials.php I would recommend this place to anyone, especially if you have children.
Benjy was as happy as a clam watching the boats. In fact I was having a hard time getting the rest of the family up, so I said, "Look at that huge boat," and up popped 3 heads. Of course it was just a little pontoon at the time, but it was all in perspective of what you considered a large boat to be...right?
We begged my parents to take Kyce for the weekend, since we knew we would be doing a lot of sitting at games, eating out and being around water. WE felt a little guilty about it, but we knew he was having a blast with Grandpa and Grandma, too.

It was really chilly Saturday Morning, yet it turned out to be a gorgeous day. Karsyn got a little more Mom and Dad time since we weren't off chasing Kyce. Who am I kidding, he is a daddy's boy, so Benjy ends up doing the chasing at games, however, even when I do take him, he sits and cries for his dad. So, really, Benjy got to enjoy the soccer games more by not having Kyce enjoy this weekend with us. We were all very excited to see him on Sunday, though. We kept talking about how much we missed him and then we would see an active little toddler or a little one crying and we would say, "We made the right decision."

We had a good a time with Kyce and he was such a good boy Both he and Charlee did great Although Charlee seemed to have some separation anxiety more than Kyce.
You did make the right choice...
