A Relaxing Spring Break

This last week the kids and I went to my parents house and Benjy had to stay home and work. I was able to read, The Help, and I loved it. I didn't like what was happening in the book however, I couldn't put it down. Benjy joined us on the weekend and my brother, Steve, Sister-in-law, Lori and their girls came too. Kyce just loves these girls!
Kaydree and Sydney hung out.
Poor, Korin wasn't feeling well but shealways puts on a good face.
We enjoyed watching all of the wildlife playing out in the gorgeous weather.
We were watching the deer play in the back field.
Everyone took turns.
We sat in the hot tub and Karsyn decorated the patio with sidewalk chalk. It's always a good sign when the chalk comes out. Here is the sad part....we are suppose to get snow again on Wednesday. What I love the most about spring is that the snow doesn't usually hang around for very long. Thank goodness, we are all ready for some sunny weather.

Darn, hadn't heard that forecast yet. Sounds like the perfect getaway for Spring Break. Can't beat being with those you love. And a hot tub and a good book, that's not too shabby either!

Looks like a fun way to spend spring break. It doesn't look like spring AT ALL here yet. IT even snowed last night! Cute kids! :)

I am glad you liked The Help! I loved it and could not put it down, but I agree-Some of the stuff that went on was so disturbing.
